When installing the Security Agent
during server installation, Trend Micro Apex One needs access to all files that the agent scans. Since
Microsoft Exchange Server queues messages in local directories, it is necessary to
exclude these directories from scanning which allows the Exchange Server to process
email messages.
Trend Micro Apex One automatically
excludes all Microsoft Exchange 2000/2003 directories from scanning. Configure this
setting on the web console (
> Scan Settings on the Security
