Read scan results and handle threats

Scan results show the total number of threats detected, as well as the number of resolved and unresolved threats. You can see a more detailed summary of the scan results by clicking the number of resolved or unresolved threats. To deal with any unresolved threats on your computer, click the status and follow the instructions shown.

Resolved threats

Cleaned

The scan removed a threat from a file.

Removed

The scan deleted spyware or a file with an unremovable threat.

Unresolved threats

Restart required

You must restart the computer to finish removing all remnants of the threat.

Access denied

Your security software did not have full "read/write" access to where the threat was found (such as a CD-ROM or network drive).
