Connect your account to enable cloud security features and give TrendAI Vision One™ greater visibility and protection over your cloud assets.

Connecting your Alibaba Cloud account allows various TrendAI Vision One™ apps and security features to access your cloud assets and gain greater visibility over assets and monitor for potential threats. The core features deployed when connecting enable the following TrendAI Vision One™ apps and features to monitor your cloud environment:

Core Features and Cyber Risk Exposure Management

The core set of features and permissions required to connect your Alibaba Cloud account.

Core features enable you to connect your Alibaba Cloud account to TrendAI Vision One™ to discover your cloud assets and rapidly identify risks such as compliance and security best practices violations on your cloud infrastructure.

Note

Core features are required to connect your Alibaba Cloud accounts and cannot be disabled. If you need to disconnect your account, see Alibaba Cloud accounts.

Note

Your Alibaba Cloud assets appear in the Endpoint Inventory list. Assets without the TrendAI Vision One™ Endpoint Security agent installed appear as unmanaged endpoints.

Cyber Risk Exposure Management - Cloud account assessment

Discover and assess your cloud assets for attack exposure, risk factors, and security posture. When you enable Cyber Risk Exposure Management - Cloud account assessment, you can monitor and manage your Alibaba cloud assets in the following TrendAI Vision One™ apps:

Agentless Vulnerability & Threat Detection

This feature set allows TrendAI Vision One™ to deploy Agentless Vulnerability & Threat Detection in your Alibaba Cloud account to discover vulnerabilities and malware in your Elastic Compute Service (ECS) instances, cloud disks, and Alibaba container registry images.

Important

Enabling Agentless Vulnerability & Threat Detection requires LocalShell deployment using a supported region. If you are enabling this feature on a compartment that was already connected using CloudShell, you must change the deployment type to LocalShell.
