Supported regions and deployment limitations for connecting your AWS account.

Some Cloud Account features have limited support for AWS regions. The list of supported regions might change as development of support for additional regions continues. Review the information below before connecting your AWS account to avoid any confusion or service interruption.

AWS China region limitations

AWS China regions (cn-north-1, cn-northwest-1) operate as a separate partition, isolated from standard AWS regions. When connecting AWS accounts in China regions, the following limitations apply:

Only single AWS account deployment is supported. AWS Organizations deployment is not available.
Only CloudFormation deployment is supported. Terraform deployment is not available.
When you select a China region for deployment, Server & Workload Protection scanning regions will be limited to cn-northwest-1.
AWS China regions use the amazonaws.com.cn domain instead of amazonaws.com used in global AWS regions.
