Add a proxy server for Cloud Security to connect with your EC2 and AWS Fargate clusters.

You can set up proxy connections for individual clusters in your AWS ECS instances.

Procedure

  1. On the Inventory/Overview page, select the ECS cluster you want to configure.
    The Cluster Details page opens.
  2. Ensure that Runtime Security is on.

    In order to create, use, or modify a proxy, you must have Runtime security enabled.
  3. Click Proxy settings.
    The Proxy Settings window appears.
  4. Configure the settings shown for your ECS cluster.
  5. Turn on Use proxy.
  6. Select the proxy protocol.
  7. Specify the Proxy address.
  8. Specify the Port number.
  9. If your proxy requires authentication, select Require authentication credentials, then specify the Account and Password credentials.
  10. Click OK.
  11. On the Cluster Details page, click Save.

    You must click Save on the cluster details page in order for the proxy settings take effect.
