Move an Azure subscription from one management group to another while keeping it synced with Cloud Accounts.

When both the source and target management groups are onboarded to Cloud Accounts, you must update each management group's deployment before and after moving the subscription in Azure. This ensures that Cloud Accounts removes the subscription from the source management group and registers it under the target management group without conflicts.

Procedure

  1. In TrendAI Vision One™, go to the source management group settings and add the subscription to the excluded subscriptions list.
    For more information on excluding subscriptions, see Connect an Azure management group.
  2. Re-run the deployment for the source management group.
    Cloud Accounts removes the TrendAI Vision One™ resources deployed to the subscription from the source management group.
  3. In the Azure portal, move the subscription to the target management group.
  4. Re-run the deployment for the target management group.
    Cloud Accounts deploys TrendAI Vision One™ resources to the subscription and registers it under the target management group.
