Move a Google Cloud project from one organization or folder to another while keeping it synced with Cloud Accounts.

When both the source and target organizations or folders are onboarded to Cloud Accounts, you must update each organization or folder's deployment before and after moving the project in Google Cloud. This ensures that Cloud Accounts removes the project from the source and registers it under the target without conflicts.

Procedure

  1. In TrendAI Vision One™, go to the source organization or folder settings and add the project to the excluded projects list.

  2. Re-run the deployment for the source organization or folder.
    Cloud Accounts removes the TrendAI Vision One™ resources deployed to the project from the source organization or folder.
  3. In the Google Cloud console, move the project to the target organization or folder.
  4. Re-run the deployment for the target organization or folder.
    Cloud Accounts deploys TrendAI Vision One™ resources to the project and registers it under the target organization or folder.
