AskAI in Outlook Add-in empowers your end users to take an active role in email security without leaving their inbox. Administrators can flexibly control whether end users have access to AskAI, ensuring the feature is rolled out in alignment with organizational policies. Once enabled, users can instantly analyze suspicious emails using AI-powered insights and submit phishing or spam reports directly within a conversational chat interface. This seamless integration reduces friction in the reporting process, encouraging faster user response and improving overall organizational threat visibility.

Procedure

  1. Select an email in Outlook and open the Outlook add-in.
  2. Click Ask AI.
    The TrendAI chat window opens and asks if you want to analyze the email.
  3. Click Yes, analyze this email to analyze the email by TrendAI.
    TrendAI analyzes the email and returns the result along with the reasons for the result.
  4. You can report the email to TrendAI and/or your administrator by clicking Confirm report.
