Configuring Notification Settings

Procedure

1. Go to ADMINISTRATION → Notifications.
2. To configure Action Required or Warnings notifications:
   1. Click the Settings tab.
   2. Specify the recipients in the To field.

      Tip Separate multiple entries with semicolons.

   3. Specify the value in the Subject prefix field.

      Note To include the Subject prefix value in email notifications, insert the %SUBJECT_PREFACE token in the Subject field of a notification template.

   4. Click the Action Required or Warnings tab.
   5. Select the check boxes that correspond to the types of events you want to receive notifications about in the Email Notification column.
   6. If available in the Alert Threshold column, specify the number of detections or violations within each time period that trigger a notification.

      Note Worry-Free Business Security Services sends a notification when the number of detections or violations exceeds the Alert Threshold. For example, if you want to receive a notification when there is a single detection, set the threshold to "0".

   7. To customize the subject line and the message body of each event notification, click the notification link in the Type column.

3. To configure Noteworthy Events notifications:

   Note This feature requires special licensing.

   1. Click the Noteworthy Events tab.
   2. Specify the recipients.
      You can choose to notify the recipients of Action Required and Warning notifications, or specify different email addresses.
   3. Specify how often to receive Noteworthy Events notifications.
      You can choose to receive a notification as soon as an event occurs, or receive accumulative events every few hours.
   4. Specify the subject preface.
4. Click Save.
