Use a customized credit allocation model specifically designed for academic institutions.

For customers utilizing Microsoft or Google education plans, Trend Vision One Cloud Email and Collaboration Security offers a customized credit allocation model tailored to their unique academic environments.
This feature is designed specifically for academic institutions that use special licensing suites from identity providers (IdPs) such as Microsoft, which typically bill only for faculty members and exclude students. To align with these licensing models, Email and Collaboration Security allows eligible customers to selectively allocate credits based on specific user groups. This helps ensure accurate billing, avoids unnecessary credit consumption, and supports compliance with academic pricing structures.

Procedure

  1. Click Manage credit allocation in the Email Asset Inventory screen.
  2. Select the deployment for which you want to manage credit allocation by clicking the corresponding tab.
