Create mappings between Microsoft Entra ID and Trend Vision One tag properties.
Procedure
- Go to .
- Under Microsoft Entra ID, click Manage.
- If Microsoft Entra ID is not yet configured, go to to configure Microsoft Entra ID.
- Click + Create mapping.The Create a mapping window appears.
Important
You can create a maximum of 5 Microsoft Entra ID mappings. - Configure the new mapping.
- Type a Mapping name.
- Select a Third-party tag property from the dropdown list.
- Select a Platform tag property from the dropdown list.When you select a third-party tag property and a platform tag property, you establish a mapping relationship between that third-party tag property and the Trend Vision One tag property. The tag values belonging to the third-party tag property are synced into Trend Vision One and become values of the platform tag property.
Note
Multiple mappings cannot share both the same Microsoft Entra ID and platform tag properties. - Use the Status radio buttons to enable or disable the mapping.
- Click Save.The new mapping appears on the External tags screen.
- Edit an existing Microsoft Entra ID mapping.
- Click the
icon next to a mapping to open the Edit a mapping window.
- Modify the mapping name or third-party tag property.
Note
If you edit the third-party tag property, all tag values previously assigned to assets by this mapping remain unchanged. Any new tags synced by this mapping are assigned the next time the mapping runs. - Click Save.
- Confirm the changes and click Save.
- Click the
- Delete one or more existing Microsoft Entra ID mappings.
- Click the
icon next to a mapping.
To delete multiple mappings at once, select the mappings and click Delete. - Click Delete in the confirmation window.
Note
Deleting a mapping does not remove the tag values assigned to Trend Vision One assets by the mapping.
